Swing Zone, Issue #8
In Swing Zone, Issue #8, another encounter with Freedale’s spy leaves Mia Blancharde reeling, especially when it’s suggested that Lakeside’s leader has manipulative powers beyond their grasp. Freshly weary of Coltis Lawson, Mia gathers her courage and inner strength to confront him, and discovers for the first time just how frighteningly dangerous he can be.
Emotions spiraling out of control, Mia’s world is thrown further into chaos with alarming news from home of her brother’s lethal quest for more power. Between Coltis’ potential magic and Zavier’s unbridled control of Freedale’s army, Mia realizes just how precarious her situation has become.
Okay, so I know I haven’t written a real blog post in ages, but I will again someday. Right now I actually have to set aside time just to post updates on Swing Zone. Have you noticed how I’m always late? This should’ve been done on November 1st. But then there was this hurricane… and then trick-or-treating got postponed… and then there was this big election… and then and then…
One day I’ll be able to end that sentence with, “and then I wrote.”
But not today.
Release Day! Swing Zone #6 Details & Cover Art
In Swing Zone, Issue #6, Mia Blancharde is at a loss without Coltis Lawson but resigns herself to the life she’s chosen. An odd encounter at a party leaves Mia with intriguing new questions about the purists and makes Lakeside more mysterious than she imagined.
Following an explosive run-in with Daniel, she attempts to flee the city, which lands her in the hands of the military and her brother, Colonel Zavier Blancharde. Loss turns to hope as Mia is enlisted to use her connection in Lakeside to spy for her brother, making her the unwilling eyes and ears of Freedale’s military.
