Well, this is exciting. As I said on G+, it doesn’t seem possible that this will wrap up in one more episode.

My favorite character is Mia. I like her spunkiness.

My favorite chapter was #5,because I’m pretty sure that was when I figured out that one particular plot point (I’m avoiding spoilers) was really going where it seemed to be going — in the same direction as one of the Burroughs Mars books.

Sorry to hear about the tough times. Hope things get better soon.

I agree completely about the power of fiction. There have been a couple of times on blogs when I’ve had to remind young writers of the big picture. Some people get so caught up in agents and e-books and self-publishing and beta readers and Amazon and so on that they lose track of what they really are: storytellers. Part of a tradition of thousands of years, a vital part of human history.

People can get so obsessed with the publishing industry that they forget that, in historical terms, the publishing industry has existed for about the last ten minutes.

And it may not last another ten minutes, but there will still be stories and storytellers.
