Swing Zone was the first and only emotobook season that I saw through from beginning to end. I remember reading Jodi McClure’s submission soon after I joined the creative team at Grit City Publications and just thinking, “Wow, I hope I get assigned this one.” Even now, as I prepare Issue #6 for publication in September, I’m awed that I was so fortunate to work with such a competent and creative individual such as Jodi. As the content editor for Issues 1-10, I’ve read and reread Swing Zone over a hundred times, and each time I’m astonished to realize that I still love this story. I’m still not sick of it. I still believe in it.
Swing Zone also features expressionistic art by talented digital artist Zach Revale.
